Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychology Intern to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate-level psychology students seeking hands-on experience in assessment, therapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The intern will work under the supervision of licensed clinical psychologists and receive regular individual and group supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct intake interviews and psychological assessments
Provide individual, group, or family therapy under supervision
Develop treatment plans and track client progress
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in supervision, team meetings, and case conferences
Engage in professional development and training opportunities
Qualification/Skill:
BSc in Psychology
Completion of foundational coursework in psychotherapy and assessment
Strong interest in clinical work and client care
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
Optional: Bilingual or experience working with specific populations
Applicants Requirements
Applicants must pass the BACKGROUND CHECK before resumption of duty.
The Background Check Process includes:
Applicant must pass Drug Test and Serology Test (HEP B, HIV)
ABNM HR will conduct a Residential visit to the Applicant
Applicant must provide two (2) Guarantors, one Family (Immediate Family), and any other 1 person. The Guarantors must provide one passport photograph, 2 IDs (NIN is Mandatory and another ID)
Applicant must provide two (2) Referees, The Referee must provide one passport photograph, 2 IDs (NIN is Mandatory and another ID)
ABNM HR will conduct Fingerprint for the applicant
ABNM HR will conduct a CV check on the Applicant’s previous place of work and qualifications obtained.
NB: Our Background Checks are rigorous, therefore, candidates who are not able to meet up with the Background check requirement should not bother applying.
